It is important to set expectations with your clients in as many ways as you can - it is a principle that is deeply engrained in Sprout Studio in a variety of ways.

When your client first views their album proof, they'll be greeted with a Welcome Message along with instructions as to how to use the design proof.

You may want to remind them what they have included in their collection, set expectations for how you'd like them to give feedback on the design proof, tell them more about timelines, and so on.

By default, your design proof will use Sprout's default messages, which are generic instructions. There are two ways to edit the messages in a design proof:

  1. To edit the messages for a specific album proof, click the "Edit" button next to the "Sprout Studio Default" card in the "Message Template" panel while editing a design proof.

  2. To edit the default message or create a message that will be available for all album proofs, go to Settings > Galleries & Designs > Design Proofs > Design Proof Messages.
