Booking Pages are a convenient feature that lets a client book themselves without any intervention! What happens though when a client reserves a date but doesn't go through with actually booking you? This article will go over the different ways you can limit that and free up dates if a client hasn't officially booked it yet.
When building out your Booking Page, you'll notice after you attach your scheduler that a menu pops up below it. This is the When to Reserve Date section. This is where you'll set the criteria of how your Booking Page reserves a date.
The three options you can choose from are:
Immediately, which will immediately reserve the date when they get to the Contract portion of the Booking Page.
Countdown Timer, which will add a timer to the Contract page letting them know that they only have a certain amount of time to reserve the date. You can set the number of minutes the client has yourself with this option.
Once Paid, which will reserve the date only when you receive payment for the Shoot. This prevents situations where a client signs the contract but doesn't end up sending you the money. With this option, you can set Sprout to automatically close the Lead if money isn't received in a certain amount of time to free up the date again.
