Sometimes there are special or unusual details about your clients that you want to keep track of. This can be anything from their birth date, pet's names, and anniversary date, amongst others. In Sprout Studio you are able to create Custom Contact Fields which can then be attached as an input field to any client.
How to create and edit a custom contact field
You can add a new contact field in two different ways:
Directly from within a contact by clicking "+ New Contact Detail" button below the list of existing contact methods and selecting "Custom" at the bottom to add the custom detail to this specific lead.
Go to Settings > Automation > Customizable Lists > Contact Fields and click the "Edit" button. At the bottom of this list will be a "+ New Contact Field" button.
When adding/editing a contact field in settings, you can assign a colour to that field, and rearrange the order they are listed in so those fields you use most often are at the top of the custom list.
